Sweet Potato & Peas!

I can't really find any information about sweet potatoes and peas. Are these okay for my bunny? I keep on finding information that says yes for both or no for both.

CONFUSED.

I wouldn't feed peas, they can cause a lot of digestive upset which is not good at all... snow pea pods are okay though c: .. though my bunnies do not like them XD

About the sweet potatoes, I wouldn't give them to your bunny.

I know that normal potatoes shouldn't be given, and I assume that sweet potatoes are close enough to not supposed to be given to buns as well. I wouldn't give them to my buns personally.. even if someone said they were okay, just because they're so close to potatoes.

But more people will come in and answer, so we'll see. c:

Agreed with Larry. So many other options that are better for them exist. Some people feed them if they need to put weight on a bunny or the bunny has high caloric requirements (ie it's kept outside or something), but parts of the sweet potato (green parts) are not safe at all, and the high carb content of both makes them sub-optimal for most bunnies.
