Hey all...
So, I recently joined, and as I said in my introduction, my bun was a gift to me...

At first he seemed shy, but now I'm surprised by how wonderful he acts...for a baby bun from a pet store, (and was told from a breeder), he seems super smart/well behaved for his age.

I have a section of the room that's made into a bunny room for him, lined the carpet with plastic tarp, hard plastic mat, and then rug cuts with blankets on top of them...as well as lining the wall with sheet plastic to prevent stains/smell/etc.

His room is seperate from my bedroom by an antique wooden two-panel space divider, and I removed the cloth from one panel of it so he can hop in and out that way as well as I can replace food and water. I put a plastic flap over it, though, to shut it when needed...He is wonderful about me being able to leave the flap off...jumps out when he wants and doesn't make a mess on the floor, and then hops back into his 'room.' I'm so impressed!

He's not completely litter trained inside his room, but he seems to have the general idea...

I'm just surprised, in a good way! :)

But wait until the "teenage" years. I skipped them by getting a shelter rabbit already fixed, but from what people say, watch out.

My Sweetie was a good girl during her teenage years. She was difficult to litter train but that was all. I think all bunnies are good during their teenage years, because they are just being themselves. Doing what bunnies do best.
