Are you watching the Super Bowl for the football or commercials? Since the Bears are not in it :grumpy:I am just watch it for the commercials and cheering a little for the Giants.

However, downstairs, my brothers and my father have the volume blasting with it on. :?

Me, My mom and her Boyfriend are watching it. I have no clue whats going on. It confuses me LOL.

The Bud comercials are helarious though.

I'm recording it so that my boyfriend and I can watch it when he gets home from work. We'll be fast-forwarding through the foot ball to get to the comercials :biggrin2:

Our Canadianchannel (CTV)cuts out the American commercials and all we get aresome previews of the new shows coming up. But we see thegame 5 seconds head of the American channel (FOX), so I can flip over and see the same play again.

I usually watch the Superbowl for the half time show.

I'll have to check out Myspace.com for the commercials later.

The game is 60 minutes long, and there is a 20 minute break after the first 30 minutes of play. Just like hockey, you get a break in between periods.

At the half time show, there is some big time entertainment and fireworks on the field.

One commercial is advertising Tom Petty is having a concert in August in Edmonton . Tickets go on sale Monday.

I'm working on my laptop with my Chihuahua asleep on my lap - but my hubby is watching it so I can't help but see and hear it! Some of the commercials have been funny though. I made him watch part of the dog show last night, so this is his revenge!

Can I just ask though, what's the deal with the adverts during the game? Not in a sarcastic way, just curious!

All the companies who want to advertise dish out A LOT of money to be on during the game because so many people are watching so they all try extra hard to make the ads funny/memorable so that theirs sticks out from the rest and you remember it. So the ads are always the cream-of-the-crop.

Aaaah, I see! Thanks! We don't really get that over here at all! Not that I'd even know if we did, becauseI don't watch sport at all lol... I'm afraid it's soaps, drama and cookery programmes for me lol! How sad... :?
