Well, summer is on it's way, and I was just curious what everyone does around here. Summer is probably my favorite season (memories of amusement parks, beaches, pools and good times are always comforting when you're stuck in a boring high school all day). :pThis summer I'm going to train my bun (Speri) to jump, train my ratties some tricks, go to the beach, the pool, amusement park, catch up on some relaxing time with my best friend, get more involved with dog training, and maybe start a part time job at a local veterinary hospital as a receptionist [or volunteer like to stick with one of the vets to learn some of the ropes, as I most likely want to become a veterinarian when I graduate]. I have a lot of expectations for this summer. Only a little less than three months to go! :bunnydance:

Sounds like you are going to have a great summer.

There is one thing, and one thing only I look forward to summer. It's going to my grandma's who I love and never get to see, and she always lets me bring my rabbits because she loves them and they are kept indoors. We stay there for like two or three weeks, depending. It's the best time of the year. Macey is the greatest house rabbit ever... I wonder how Keiran will like it. :)

That sounds really peaceful, and fun! :)It's nice you're close to your grandma, and that's so fortunate that she loves your bun and you so much.

The funny thing is, for all the plans I always think I'm going to complete, I usually only do the relaxing part and never devote myself to much work. lol Oh well, I'll try my best - that's the beauty of summer to me, whenyou have a bunch of things to do, you havea whole lot of time on your hands to work around them.

I am going to be doing junior guards this summer. Junior guards is training to become a lifeguard. We run, and do tons of events including the pier swim, pier jetti pier (if you are in a high group), and many other swimming and running events.

For the pier jetti pier, you swim the pier, run the jetti (6 miles) and then swim the pier. I have never done this one before! But I have done the jetti run which is 6 miles!

Here is the HB pier on a cloudy morning:

BTW: I do not want to actually become a life guard! I cannot stand the cold water and have gotten hypothermia before!

Summer is my favorite too! Except when it's really hot and humid:grumpy:.

I love taking Snuff outside to play in the pen:). Just relaxing outside in the evenings too. We used to go play Frisbee Golf, but we haven't done that in a few years-too lazy:p.

I hate summer. :grumpy:Heat and sun causes me alot of headaches.

I love the summer....the long, sunny, warm days....what's not to love?:sunshine::biggrin2:

I am sooo looking forward to the summer holidays when I will finally finish school and exams. Most of my exams come in May, but even after they finish we have to keep going to school to start our A2 course.:shock:I don't even think we break up until mid-July.:grumpy:So when we finally do I can safely say that I will do NO work at all.:biggrin2:

I'll mostly just spend my days horse riding (I want to get Smokey in some competitions this summer), spending time with Millie and Ollie, hanging out with my friends, maybe get a job (need shopping/bunny/horsey money:p)and most importantly relaxing. :jumpforjoy:
