Hi everyone!
I have a 7 year old American Fuzzy lop buck named Logan. He's normally very affectionate, and loves to be held. However, recently he had a small abscess on his foot which I've been taking care of according to a vet's instructions. I've been applying a warm compress by soaking a paper towel with iodine solution diluted with warm water. He's been getting better, but his behavior has been odd the past two nights. Normally, he loves to be held, and is very affectionate and cuddly. Whenever the cage is closed, and I put my hand through the cage wires, he hops over so I can pet him. However last night, and tonight he's been turning his head and body away whenever I try to pet him in the cage. Also, when I've been holding him, he starts digging at my shoulder (which is his way of saying he wants to go home). He does this repeatedly, and acts in a way that says he doesn't want to be bothered with. Should I be concerned? Does this have to do with his recent infection on his leg?
