Such A Lazy Bunny!!

Ok so Blossom is 13 weeks old and I don't know if she is lazy, layed back or what. Im not use to bunnies. I have always had kittens and puppies and they where like maniacs!! Blossom pretty much eats, poops and eats again!! When she comes out of her cage she will hop around for a few minutes go into her box I have and her tunnel and then back to her cage to sleep!! I hear of so many bunnies running around, jumping on couches and beds and eating everything in site!! So whats up with her is she just layed back? Again im not use to rabbits so I hope she is ok. I would think if she was sickly she wouldnt be eating. What are your thoughts. Thanks Mindy

What's she like in the evenings? Bunnies are crepuscular, so they're most active at dawn and dusk. During the day, they spend most of the time sleeping. But come about 9 or 10 pm, they get pretty darn active. Ditto about 5 or 6 in the morning. Y'know, when YOU are trying to sleep?

Rue I was just telling my husband how i think she is so layed back and he said oh your in bed when she is a crazy women. He doesnt go to bed till 2 am and he said he can hear her banging around the family room!! So I guess she is a night owl and up all night long and crashes when i get up in the morning.

Sometimes if it's a little laggy it will do that.

She sounds like Star, he has to be the laziest bunny I've ever seen, you go to his cage at any given time and I guarantee he will be flopped out with his head in the food dish, silly guy.

We keep the light lower in our bunny room so ours are a little more active, but night time is bunny time.
