Subtle Strokes

As some of you may know, I love to do digital portraiture. I have a site calledSubtle Strokes where I have a gallery of some of my work. It's not completely done yet for functionality, but it's getting there. Please, if you are interested, DO NOT order through the website yet. It still has some glitches.

I decided to really focus on my artwork for the time being while I'm at home. If anyone is interested, my printscan be purchasedand I also take requests for individual portraits. I can do black and white, one color (ie: like sepia), or full color portraits or scenes. I also can print them in a variety of sizes.

I did the portrait of "Perry" for Jan last year. With her permission, Perry's portrait is for sale and 5% of the proceeds from his portrait will go towards supplies for the Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter in Homer Glen or the Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge. This 5% also applies to the portrait of my mom's puppy Tasha, who we adopted from TLC Animal Shelter.

If anyone has any concerns about customer service, ask Jan. I do send invoices, shipping info, and receipts and keep track of all orders.

Ooohh Lauren, I am so excited that your gallery is coming along so well.

Let me tell y'all, that portrait of Perry is just wonderful - the screen doesn't do it justice. Pernod will agree with me too, as she lay next to it for a while after I first received it.

As for customer service - it's second to none. I knew exactly when it was shipped and where it was on the way here (and that's from the States to the UK), and full invoice arrived too. Not often that you get such good service

Lauren, I will definately be having another one done - not sure what yet (depends if it is for me or a gift for someone) but it will be after we are in Canada. And by all means, you can sell Perry's picture - I would be honoured

I do but it's still not finished. I'll get it done this weekend.

Prints are printed on a heavy matte photo quality paper. I can do anything from a 5x7 to poster size. Prices vary on either being a black and white image or color and size. Color images take a little longer so they are a littler more in price. So it really all depends. I can also matte them before shipping. So, it's kinda more of an indivdualized price setting as of right now.

I'm working on a price bracket as wespeak.

FYI, I'm currently taking orders for the Christmas season. Website has glitches so my hubby is going to fix it for me. I don't know how! LOL.

I'm actually still working on pricing and it all depends on whether the image is black and white or color, how many subjects are in the pics, and the size of the print. I will post a pricing bracket by Wed. I'm off tomorrow and just fine tuning the prices with shipping, printing, packaging, etc.

All pictures are printed onhigh qualityphoto paperalso come matted.
I will put everything up on here within the next couple days. I'm really trying to fine tune this all after a long break, so please bear with me for the next couple days. Thanks!

Alright, I'm working on printing prices and sizes with my printer. And working w/ my hubby to get the site up and online. However, I do know that I'm giving RO members a discount off of the normal prices. Give metill Friday night and I'll have everything up. Thanks for your patience!
