Ok so a pump by my house caught fire last night.

Need less to say we are on a water boil well with three pets that need water I just went out and bought a few jugs for the next few days we are on a water boil tell tuesday night.

But storm wont touch it. He was drinking the water in his bowl last night just fine so I filled up his crock with the bottled water. nothing so I dumped it out this morning and filled it with a different jug.

He went to drink then turned his knows up at it and thumped.

I gave him some sub q to get him through the day but what can I do he cant not drink tell tuesday. And gviing him sub q is a fight in it self when I am by my self.

Hubby was at work.

Should I flavor it why would he not like it?

No signs of illness he ate all his hay like normal.

He ate his pellets like normal.

litter box output is normal.

No running nose or eyes

It will taste different to him so he probably thinks you have given him something completely new.

I would give him a line of crocks, one with plain water in, and the next with a dash of apple juice in, the next with a dash of vanilla in, the next with a dash of cranberry juice in, etc, and also others that may flavour the water with his favourite food (so maybe soaking the fresh fruit/veg in the water and then offering it to him).

That's how I would do it because the more you offer all in one go the more chance you have of finding something he likes, and quickly, however, you could try just having two crocks, one with plain water and one with flavouring and then trying a different flavouring after X amount of time.

Another option is to try a different type of bottled water.
