I know I had promised posed pictures but still haven't manage to devote the time for a lengthy photo session.

And this is the outcome of maybe 15 minutes of trying

This is Max who I am probably keeping

Next up Moritz (still dithering over which of the two to keep)

The decision on the girls has been made (I think)

I'll be keeping Polly aka Jiggly Pop

And this is Belle

I like Max. He has a much more developed head for his age than the other. Although I like the ears on the other over his. I don't know what's in your herd (there's so many breeders I love, it's hard to keep each one separate), so I'm not sure what you need in it. Moritz is also starting to look very long. I want short as can be in my bucks. I'll let length slide for does if I'm in need of something else they have.

For the girls I can't honestly tell you which is better. Belle looks much longer, but she's also not even semi-posed. (Not trying to poke fun) They both seem to have pretty thick ears. A good trait to have being so young. Hmn. Just not sure on those two tho. D=

Max always appeared smaller and I was surprised to find that he weight exactly the same as his brother. I guess that means Max must be more compact to appear smaller. Apart from that I find it very hard to tell them apart and I'm glad I have their rings with their numbers on. My buck is somewhat large but quite stocky. I am hoping to reduce the size in further breedings.
My girls are quite good type wise and they are small but both are rather dark so having a REW is no harm. I was going to keep Belle before but her ears are beginning to appear very large all of a sudden.

The ear's will take quite some time to balance out with the body. They're one of the first things to stop growing. (Usually done around 10 weeks or so.) Although shortness seems to be the trend at the moment, so the shortest you can manage, the better.

On the flip side, the head can keep growing up until about 10 months!

I also find that length of body won't change much. If they appear long when they're little, they're not going to shorten. But a short baby can become long by senior age. It's rather annoying. XD
