I was at the feed store today to pick up morehay and Art noticed that they have "steamed, crimped hay" in 50 poundbags for $8.50. WOW....that's a lot cheaper than the oatmealI've been buying for the rabbits.

Would that work for rabbits? Is it the same thing?I didn't ask the man at the feed store because he was so busy.....

Also....they had some adorable black bunnies there - mixedbreed. They were two little girls....but Art wouldn't let meget them. Ok...so I knew I couldn't get them anyway - I haveenough pet bunnies plus the ones I pick up on Sat. for myherd. But they were ADORABLE and I didn't want them going forsnake food. The man heard me talking about that and said, "Isell them as pets...we keep rats for the snake feeders..." so I felt alot better.

Anyway - I hope someone knows about crimped oats and if they would work!

Same thing -- it's what I use. Goodfor conditioning and for rabbits that are off theirfeed. Carolyn found that her rabbits had softerdroppings when given oats, so you'll want to observe each individual todetermine what feed they do best with.
