i was cruising through photos of netherland dwarfs on here in the photo section (every bun is sooooooo cute!) and started realising that my first rabbit wanda, doesn't really look like one... and is too big...
i got her from the pet store, the cage had mixed rabbits in it, the cage had a list claiming half were netherland dwarf, and half were mini rex's, there was a rex, a wild looking jack rabbit that looks like someone pulled out of their back yard, and a big plump "dwarf" that just sat there and looked pregnant. we were told she was a netherland dwarf, and excepted it not knowing too much about rabbits and their breeds. she was so tiny when we got her and we were told she wouldn't grow much bigger, however she is pretty much the size of my lop/angora who is only a few weeks old, and she weighs around the 6 pound mark. also she has really big ears..... anyone got any suggestions?
