Standard Rex Coat Question

My Standard Rex got shown May 8, 2010. She got 2nd place. But on her Remark Card. Everything is good excpet it says that Her Density and Texture is "OPEN".:expressionless

What does that mean and what Could I do.

I have bought some : Sho Supplement" stuff at the Farm Store, Could that help?:?

What is the Sho Supplement originally for? I wouldn't feed it just yet...

As for the texture being open...I'm not really sure what the judge means by that, but really anything to do with the fur can't be fixed by feeding supplements (other than to get it in condition). To get better density and texture, it would require breeding to a rabbit with that, and then passing it on to the offspring, which could take a couple of generations for the offspring to get the perfect density/texture, unless bred with rabbits who had great fur.

Oooh. Haha. That looks pretty fancy. (Wonder if we have something like that here? )

I would go ahead and start supplementing with it. See if it helps any, although it probably won't do much for an "open" texture...but it will help with the condition, which is nice.
