Are there any dangerousand severediseases that can spread easilyfrom Rabbits to human beings? If so, how to identify such diseases? How to be very careful about them?

I am not sure, BUT, when I took my bun to thevet for a runny nose, they asked me if anyone in the house had beensick. The vet and her assistant said SOME sicknesses can bepassed. Just not sure what and exactly how...?

Use antibacterialhand sanitizer. Wash your hands. And take the rabbit to the vet if itis sick.

I personally have never gotten sick by arabbit, nor have I passed any sicknesses to my rabbits.

The spread of serious diseases to humans fromrabbits is very rare, and really only a concern to those who are immunedeficient, on chemo, transplant recipient, etc.

We are exposed to thousands of pathogens daily, but our immune systems generally eradicate the invaders.
