I just recently put Thumps (my buck) in a divided cage
With Alice (doe) (one one each side) went out to
Check on them today
And the Alice was all wet.
She smells really bad and when
I picked her up the wetness was yellow
Which tells me the buck is spraying???
Alice is not wet AT ALL underneath
Just the top of her is wet, head, back,
Sides etc. what can I do for the buck
To stop spraying?? Or what? Don't think
She has a urine infection being she is not
Wet at all underneath.
I know it's not good to give buns a bath
Specially for bun that are outside. But man
She steanks and needs deordrant or something! Lol

Also, she seems alittle more
Squirmy then she has before. She usually
Is gental and loves loving. today, not so much.
she could just be pissed at me also for
puting Thumps in there cause now she
Has to "share" half the cage. It
Was feeding time and the buck was right
There feeding as well so not sure. If
She is prego by chance (doubt it)
But how would I tell or know??

Any help would be good.

He's marking his territory by spraying. You might want to put up some cardboard or something to block him from being able to spray her.
I wouldn't give her a bath, its unnecessary. You could get some unscented baby wipes or a damp wash cloth and wipe the pee off. She might be a little stained, but it will come out when she molts. Also, don't put any fragrance on her or anything like that. Once you wipe the pee off, the smell should go away.

But I would definitely put some cardboard or some poster board against the divider, so if he does spray it hits the divider not her.
Could you show us a picture of the cage set up, so we can make more informed suggestions on how to stop the spraying/keeping her clean?

If they're able to get nose to nose through one layer of wire, then she is able to get pregnant. Especially since it looks like its 1 inch hardware cloth that you used.

I would put a 6-12 inch piece of cardboard or poster board to keep them from each other. Or if you could find some coroplast from a hardware store or a sigh shop, that would work too.

No it was just plan coated wire. It wasn't
Cloth. Any ways I will try and do something.
The cardboard defeats the purpose of the cage
As I wanted them to "be with each other" in away
And see and smell but with the cardboard it
Defeats that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Well, you're going to have to deal with spraying and maybe biting through the wire. What I'm saying is that, the holes in the wire are large for being a divider.
Since they are not spayed/neutered you're not bonding them, they're just living next to each other and you're running the risk of pregnancies.

Putting up a barrier would be the best way to stop unwanted pregnancies and him spraying her and possible injuries. Even though they can see each other, it doesn't mean that once you get them fixed they will bond. If they start nipping at each other, they can build grudges towards each other and that will hinder whatever bond they could create. Not to mention, un-spayed females are really territorial and un-neutered males just want to mate.
Those are just my suggestions though.

Ok, was just refurring to the spraying.
I knew about the rest of the things. I
Think I might jut put Thumps back in his
Own cage. Didn't think of spraying. Don't want
To really do the cardboard. Thanks though.

You could try a piece of plexiglass. That way he couldn't spray her but they could still see each other.

You probably won't be able to stop the spraying without neutering him. I agree that you should be careful housing them that close together as rabbits have been known to breed through wire and if they're territorial they may bite eachother through the wire as well.
