Please help me,
My rabbit,Ginger, just tried to jump from the top of her cage and got her leg stuck. She struggled or moment before I could help her and when I held her I noticed she didn't want to put any weigt on her back leg.
She is holding it off the ground sometimes but every now and then put some weight on it.
I can't go to the vets but need to help her. Is it a sprain? what can I do to help it? Will it get better?
PLEASE HELP ME HELP MY BUNNY!!!!!!!!!!:rabbithop

It could be sprained, but it could also be broken and she should have an exam with radiographs (x-rays) to see if it's fractured. In the meantime you should confine her so she can't do a lot of running or jumping and give her some pain meds (metacam/meloxicam if you have it). If she's not bearing weight on it she's obviously in pain.

Agree, you need to restrict her to a small area where she can't jump/run. If you can get her to your vet on Monday they can do an X-ray. Keeping her confined will help with healing.

Thank you very much.
i'm keeping her confined and she seems alot better already. I'll get some pain killer as soon as possible and will take her to the if she doesn't continue to get better.
Thank you again.
