the store I work at is having a sale on their oxbow hay, so I bought a few bags..

but I was wondering, does anyone's bun have a favorite hay? \

Frank eats mainly timothy, I have a big tote of that, but since he is having some teeth issues I figured I would get him the oat hay since its crunchier. but then I know he really likes the botanical hay too... and then I figured I might as well get him the orchard grass since its on sale and all. lol

He also got some toys today. He is spoiled.

I live in Saudi Arabia and they don't really sell rabbit sized portions, so we have to get the horse sized bales, but they are pretty cheap(equal to about $5/bale which lasted a few months). They really only have timothy, brome(bad quality), and alfalfa. Mine seems to love it. We picked up a new bale yesterday and we're just letting him pick at it. He seems to be enjoying climbing all over it and guarding it. With the last bale I was just pulling a bunch out and putting it in his cage. The balcony is enclosed and it's kind of cool today and rainy, and he seems to be enjoying hopping out for fresh air too.

Mine like orchard grass the best, but I make it a treat. They normally get coastal grass hay that I can buy by the bale.

mine only eats Oaten hay… I've tried ALL the hays available here and Oaten is the only one he will eat enough of to make a healthy bunny diet.
But if i let him he would eat lucerne hay all like it is bunny crack. but i don't let him now he is an adult.
