completely off topic of sorts but what is the best vacum. I would love a Dyson :heartbeat:but i cant spend that kind of money on one, unless i knew for sure that it was the next best things since Bunnies, lol. i put my vacums through the ringer, i am a fanatic vacumer, and i go through 1 vacum every year to year and a half :shock2:. I dont want a vacum that has a trillion parts that you have to replace, like filter this and filter that, and air freshners and bags , because i find those things get clogged and then the vacum doesnt work all that well, and they arek ind of expensive. So when i was at the store the other week i seen a Bissel lift off revolution pet, supposidly geared more towards pet hair and dander and such, which would get put to great use here with 3 dogs, 3 cats and the Bun. They are a sponsor of petfinder.com too.

so anyone have this? what do you think? http://www.bissell.com/Products/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Bissell&category%5Fname=UprightVacuum&product%5Fid=Lift%2DOff%5FPet here is the link to there page with the vacum on it. Is it worth the money or am i a SUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Try looking at some online reviews. It really helped me to decide which vacuum would be the best buy for my price range.

You have to remember to look at the price for replacement filters and belts as well. It may be worth it to spend an extra $50 now and save on replacement parts in the future.

I found this website helpful: http://www.epinions.com/
Sometimes there isn't a review for the exact model you're looking at, but you can get a good idea of the brand by looking at similar models.

I got one that had a Hepa Filter on it. It just catches everything, it's great.

My mom has a dyson that we've had for awhile now. At least 2-3 years. In our opinion, it is the best vacum avaliable. Yeah, it was expensive, but we haven't had to buy anything else for it. We have the two buns and two golden retrievers who shed a lot! It can even suck up hay and such. Occasionally it gets a clog from the hay, but the areas where it will clog can be removed and cleared in seconds.

I completely believe that the dyson is worth the money.

I have a Dyson would not change it for the world it picks up everything. I have a rug in my bedroom and it has a really tight weave it would never get clean properly until i got my dyson!!

When i needed a new vacuum for work i got a different make that was bagless (can't remember what ) it was CRAP kept falling apart didn't pick up the same and a pain in the neck to empty i now have a dyson there too. The other one was a total waste of money

I also have a Dyson. I was expensive, but I must say I'm hooked on it! It's amazing how much "stuff" it gets out of the carpet. It's helpful for my allergies too. The only thing I don't like about it is that I find the hose attachment awkward.
