Some people say males are nicer in general, but I don't think it matters. I have all female rabbits (4 spayed, 1 not) and most of them are friendlier than my boyfriends male rabbits (both neutered). It's more of the individual rabbits personality than whether the rabbit is male or female, especially when they are fixed.

Females are so much different than males. My Luna is showing me that. lol But both can be just as sweet and rewarding. Neutering/Spaying is the best way to help your bunny calm down. Hormones are really tough on both females and males. Removing that "breeding" instinct does help calm down your bunnies. But you need to gain their trust. Once you gain a trust of a bunny, nurture that relationship. It's truly a very rewarding relationship. Bunnies are just awesome pets, whether female or male.

Good Luck finding your new bun!

K:)
