Well Aria and Luna were officially spayed today. They are both eating a little and pooping. It is a little liquidy but no more then expected.

They both seem to be doing good although I will keep everyone updated.

Luna is more active and walking around in the area we have her contained. Aria on the other hand is staying put and doesn't want to move. We shall see how this goes. It hasn't even been 12 hours yet so I am not worried.

I'm glad they're doing well! my babies got spayed 11 days ago, so I've just been through all this with them.

Eating and pooping is good!

Glad their spay is over. Hope it is a fast recovery for them!

Well time for Day 2. I had to give them their medicine this morning. Pain in my BUTT!!

what I did was back them inbetween my legs facing away. I petted them for a little bit to make sure they where calm, then I held down their front shoulders and slowly fed it to them via syringe.

Aria was fine. Not happy but fine.

Luna on the other hand was extremely upset. She kept biting my fingers. Not a real "hardest possible bite" but a medium one. no blood drawn or anything like that. I just let her do it. Almost like saying hey I am sorry please cut this out.

Jobs done for this 12 hours.

They are also eating hay and eating all the veggies I give them.

Also it seems crazy but they are actually acting closer now then ever before. If one bun leaves the other bun follows and they are never farther then a foot away. They sleep right next to each other, and they are both grooming each other which is great! Normally Luna is top bun so she gets groomed but Aria does not. It's actually interesting because Aria is larger of the two.

Funny how a little trauma can go a long way in the bonding process :p

DISCLOSURE: I am not recommending trauma to bond your buns.
