Southern Californians!

Hey guys!

Just wanted to post that the Best Friends Animal Society will be holding a Pet Adoption Festival at N. Hollywood Recreational Park on Sunday, the 27th April from 11a-4pm, and that we'll be going!

So, if any Southern Californians want to drop by, we'll be there, and would love to meet ya! We're going so that we can at least donate some money to a few rescue groups we love...and hopefully we WON'T be coming home one bun heavier! LOL...you know me enough to know that it'll be tough to say no...but I'll do all I can.

p.s....there are two brother kitties at the local cat house rescue here that are just like your sunny and hobbes. I want to adopt them badly, but I can probably only handle one crazy kitty like them, lol.

LOL...you guys are too funny!

Considering (and this is the first time I've mentioned it) Teddy very probably will be coming home sometime next week (EEEE!!!), we DEFINITELY won't be bringing anybun new home!

BUT...I do intend to maybe bring along some blankets, or something, to give rescues, or maybe just a money donation, or something. I wanna help out, but that isn't something that can include bringing anybun home right now...so we'll help out the next best way.

And Julie...I REALLY look foward to meeting you!

Yes - it will be great to a put a face with a name/voice (thanks for talking me down last night - lol) Where is the park exactly - and how will I find you?I will wear my yellowT-Shirt that has a white bunny on itand the caption reads"I'm not mean - yourjust a sissy!".. My coworkers gave it to me when Baxter! bit 3 of them in one day.. :biggrin2:

Yay! LOVE the hair.. This will make it much easier for me.. I do not have a photo of myself that would help (found one of me asleep with my cat laying half of her body over my face - lol).. I'll find you..

LOL...I have a picture of Em (my daughter) that's similar to that. Hobbes (our huge 18lb boy kitty) laid right on her chest, which on an 8yo isn't that bit, so he was totally blocking her face! LOL!

I have so many goofball pictures of Hobbes...he's quite the card!

Anyway, thanks for the compliment on the hair...took me quite a few times of dying it to get it that color. My hair's naturally a very dark brown (as you can see in that second picture of me), so it took quite a few times to lighten it as much as I wanted, without bleaching it.
