I was reading through a website I visit called reddit, and came across this post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/comments/kee5z/rabbits_in_south_carolina_need_rescuing_asap/

A woman found several rabbits dumped in the woods by her house, at the moment it looks like it's three of them. Two of them have been caught already, they aren't spayed or neutered yet. Apparently that area is full of rabbits that need homes, and rescues aren't taking in any more, so I'm helping spread the word. I don't know where at in SC it is yet, but you can check that page for any updates about contact information and I'll also add it here once it's shared.

Update: The woman who found the rabbits lives in Darlington, SC, and the person who posted this lives in Florence. I have the person in Florence (the shelter volunteer)'s email, so if you or anyone you know may be able to help, send me a message and I'll send you the email address to get in contact with her.

Here's hoping that they all find loving homes! Often times people thinking "hey, it's a rabbit! It'll be fine if I just let it go outside." Such a shame. :(
