Victoria went to the vet today...everything wentwell !!!!!!!!! :dancing:vet said no worries about herear....her only one concern was that she said the baby wasunderweight...she said that including alfalfa would help b/c of itshigh protein content and such ,...she also said that greens such askale would be good...i went home thinking nothing of it, but of coursei think of all the questions when i get home...she is such aslooooooooooooooow eater..she eats well but gosh does she take hretime...greens are going to get gross sitting in her cage all day, soare there any other routes i can take to help put some weight on her?she didnt even weigh half a pound :p

thanx again

i've been giving her oats (about a tsp. mixed inwith her pellets)b/c her poop was really soft when she camhome with us, and i told the vet that and she said to be really carefulb/c they fall under the simple sugars catagory, and too much will leadto GI stasis

half inch of Nutri- Cala day for about a weekas soon as she starts gainingup thenwean her off of itslowly .

I am more concerned with herslow eating , Did the Vet checkher teeth ? are they aligned right, Do they need to be clipped back tonormal ?

try the Nutri - Cal and see how it goes.

she didcheck out her teeth ....hehwhen she listened to her with the stethescope it was funny b/c it tookup like half of her body...i really just think she is lazy b/c shelleat for a few minutes then flop over and take a break and then goesback to eating...she's been eating about a 1/2 cup ofpelletsa day..i've been making sure she has as much pellets as shed like toeat....where would i get nutrical from? do i have to buy thru the vetsoffice, or is it available at a general pet store?

Check your local pet shop for Nutri-Cal in the catsection. If it's not there try the dog section. Dogsupplies are usually more expensive. :X

I just found some Nutri-Cal at Petcetera for$19.88 So it's available in Canada now.
