Hello! My name Is Melissa. I LIVE IN Michigan. After a long time of wanting a rabbit and a lot of research I will soon be adding a bunny to my household. Not only will He/she be a house pet, but he/she will possibly be a therapy bunny. I will be getting a Silverfox rabbit. I am not sure on the sex but either way the name will be Jude, named after my favorite romance author :). Jude will be living in a large C&C cage which is not built yet. Until then Jude will be living in a large store buoght cage. I am very excited. I have had rabbits before, mainly mixed breeds and californian rabbits but they have never been house bunnys. Shortly after I bring Jude home I will be bringing a same sexed Californian mix baby (soon to be born)
Home. His/her name will be Henry or Maude. My children are very excited. I would like to also build an outdoor run for the rabbits so they can enjoy being outdoors occasionally. I am hoping to make friends with all of you and learn more about rabbits.

:welcome1to RO! You definitely came to the right place. I haven't had my rabbits for very long but have learnt a lot since joining, and the other rabbit slaves are wonderful. ^.^

I remember the excitement i felt when i was counting down the days to bring my bunnies home. I've been thinking about getting another one maybe a little closer to Christmas time, possibly a Flemish Giant. ^.^

See you around the forums! :bunny17:

Welcome Melissa! You've come to the right place!
Can't wait too see pics of Jude and hope your stay here is lovely!

I would like to welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

Many bunnies’ recommend their slaves to this site so we may learn of others methods to keeping our furry masters happy.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

Here are somelinks I thought you might find interesting:

*The House Rabbit Society has a lot of good information on what veggies are safe for bunny’s, etc.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How to Bond with Your Bunny.
