Hello! Glad to find these forums.

I'm Kimmie, 30, from Ohio USA. I will be getting my first rabbit soon, from a friend who can no longer care for her. I am in the process of turning the extra bedroom into the critter room, and asked that Bella stay with her old mommy (she's in no danger, just doesn't get as much attention as she demands) so I can make the room a free-range room for Bella as well. Should be ready for her in a month or two, hopefully less!

I'm excited! Her name is Isabella (aka Bella Buni, aka Izzy), and she's 10 months old. She's not spayed (plan to do that ASAP), she's litter-trained and quite cuddly and doesn't like being in her cage too long (very people-oriented, destructive when confined). She's around 7 lbs, but doesn't keep weight on well? I am not sure why, but will get her checked out as soon as she comes home. She's white and black, very pretty!

I am also mom to dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats and a hedgehog. I've also had hamsters and fish in the past. I love critters. So much so, that I used to run a rat rescue and hope to run a general small-animal rescue again in the future.

Bella will be my first bunny but I have a feeling she won't be my last! I've always wanted one.

Excited to be here!
