Hi Varna,

Some meds can stain and are difficult to clean up.

Try a little warm soapy water ( Dawn dish soap works really well). Trynot to soak the fur too much if possible. Rinse. Dry thoroughly. Youmight have to repeat.

You can also make a paste of white vinegar and cornstarch, rub it intothe stain, let it dry, and then brush/comb it out. This works forcleaning up white buns pretty well (i've got 3 buns that are mostlywhite). Letting it dry is the hard part, especiallywithoutthe buns cooperation. I'm thinking of trying a blow dryer set onlow/cool to speed up the drying. It might not come out. You may have tolet time and the bun's grooming get it out.

My vet usually tells us if the meds will stain. That way we make sure we are prepared for unexpected events such as yours.

Good Luck.

I've got a bunny to clean as well. Our new little rescue bun was living under a car in a service station.

Dishwashing liquid cuts through grease/oil ratherwell. Dampen a towel with a little dishsoap and wipe the area-- then wipe again with a damp clean cloth to remove the excess soap.
