I got this buck about 1 mo ago and he never really look right. I thought maybe because he was in a small cage so now he get out all the time for some exercise. He just seems so weak in the hind end. He is 2 years old and has been used a lot for breeding by the girl I got him from. He has very nasty fur but I am working on getting that clean by brushing him and washing him with waterless shampoo. Not sure what else I can do for him. I would love to bring him to the vets right now but money is tight after I spent $400 for Goliath and getting his toe removed and he still passed away. I also been sick my self. Well hear is a video of him tell me what you think. Maybe he should just get out of his cage more to help his back end.

Hip and leg problems are not uncommon in the big breeds, however, this guy just looks like he's a little weak in the muscles from being confined. I'd try getting him out for plenty of exercise as well as giving him a glucosamine supplement (I use Nutrical Senior for my dog - you can also use it for rabbits.)

Pain may also be an issue from arthritis.

I do still have pain meds from Goliath and I will get on the supplement this week. Thank you so much Pam he is such a calm boy too. I think I will give him free range of the kitchen for 3-4 hr a day see how that helps him. He was in a short cage so he could not stand up I felt so bad for him.
