I have three little bunnies, two of whom are already neutered. We waited too long before neutering the last one and now the first two bunnies are happily bonded, but hate their brother. He has an appointment scheduled with the vet. When I let him out to play and the other two are locked up in their cage,* they will chase him before settling down. One interesting thing, though: they'll also start chasing each other, even though they cuddle sweetly most of the time. They will go around the cage a few times before giving up and flopping down together.

I always thought the male would attack the neuter, not the other way around! Maybe the pheromone excites other bunnies, and in fact males' pheromones lead to aggression in other bunnies. Has anyone else noticed something like this? More importantly, did it go away after neutering -- is there a chance that all three bunnies will live in peace?

* I know each bunny is supposed to have its own safe space, but they seem much happier when they are together and switched cages all the time anyway, so I finally moved one of the cages out and let them cohabitate.
