Bless your heart.

I know you'll give them the best, but remember that you can't save them all.

You have a big heart (as many of us here do as well). Thats how I ended up with a kitty in my garage right now. lol. I cant say no to an animal in need.

where is a good piggie site where I can read what kind of treats I can feed them I saw it before but for the life of me I cant find it LOL

I promise pics tomorrow when they settle in.

thanks guys!

The Piggies are home and there is lots of little oinking and squeeking coming from the cages. I have them separated into three groups Mom and the babies in a cgae....Daddy in a cage...and two males who are bonded in another cage. Tomorrow I am going to fix the cages up right cause I just wanted to get them in there cages to settle for thenight they made a hour and half journey to my house in cardboard boxes. I will snap some pics tomorrow for you all to see they are mostly black white and red. there nails are horribly long and will trim them tomorrow to an I think they are over weight cause they are FAT!

again Big thanks ow nad by the way there are 8 of them

Have fun , i love when they wheek and run around it is soooo cute. again cant wait to see pics

How wonderful of you to save these guys :) I must admit that I have the same problem you do. I just can't say no....Only problem is you end up with a full house!

Do you have any idea on the sexes of the babies? The boys "mature" at three to fourweeks of age so you will need to know what you have ASAP so there are no unexpected pregnancies ;)

Sounds like you have a bunch of TSW (tortoise shell and white) they are my favorite color. Can't wait to see them!

Will you be keeping them or are you fostering them? Just curious....

BTW, No such thing as a fat guinea pig :biggrin2:

Hi, I am going to try and sex them tomorrow I belive they are three weeks of age and Mom still is making milk I am just leary on separating them cause I am not sure on there age I did see one eating some timoth hay.

I am planning on keeping one MAYBE 2.... and finding homes for the rest. The father of the babies is really nice and so are the bonded males but they are a bit more skiddish(they look ike the piggie from Dr. Dolittle Rodney) I will post some pics of them tomorrow when I get up and feed.
