Ok, I'm opening this again, it's been 32 days since my bunny was bred, she has been showing very little signs of being preg, so does that basically mean no chance of babies? :?

I wouldn't give up just yet. The average is 30-31 days, leave it until 34-35 days and you should have an answer of whether she is pregnant or not :) .

Ok thanks, I'll rebred on Friday, I've done lot's of research but finding it hard to get info on preg. symptoms.

I believe the earliest you are supposed to rebreed is 7 days after the due date, but someone might correct me on that. Might give you a guide :)

Um I think it's 5 days no? It will be 7 days on Friday anyway :)

I just had a doe deliver on day 32. I've had live litters as late as day 35. I also had a doe deliver a single dead kit on day 38... I'd wait at least 7 days after her due date to rebreed.

There are no real "outward" signs that a doe is pregnant. They are prey animals, and any outward sign would make them more vulnerable.

i know you from another forum and really didnt think you would breed (but explains why you've gone quiet on there) is your male bigger then Princess? only i know your girl is a lionlop (lionhead x lop cross) also im sure shes under 6 months (please correct me if im wrong) id personally wait until shes6/7 months if you are going to breed her... just my personal opinion.

i also think you should do what Bacca planned to do and thats take back any of the baby buns at what ever age if their owner can no longer take care of them this will stop them being dumped, set free into the wild, passed onto a awful home (the rescue closest to me recently dealt witha case of someone throwing their bun out of a moving car... just threw the poor thing out the window :(and id hate for anything you bring int othe world to have that happen to it or worse) also check the housing on where the bun will be living i once helped one rescue remove rabbits from a home and one little guy was kept in a bread bin :(while the other 30 rabbits were kept in carriers and some cramed into hutches were talking 6 rabbits to 1 4ft hutch!

obviously i cant tell you what to do as they are your rabbits i just want you to be responsable about it also cross breeds are the hardest to rehome so please dont send them to petshop if you have problems the way i see it if you bring a litter into the world then its your responsability to keep them if you cant find homes for them so your 2 rabbits could soon be 8! ifyou havent got space, time and money for a possible 6 extra rabbits then dont breed.

i havent gone quiet over on fuzz its just that its really quiet over there like there is hardly ever anyone on line and ya i know all that stuff already like i have homes for 5 between family and friends.

Just make sure you are ready and prepared to deal with any tragedies, including losing your bunny. I hope you're doing this for the right reasons, and hope your bun is ok at the end of it :)

ya i am prepared and ready for any tradegies, my friend breeds and i have helped her with dead kits. half eaten and still born and i wasn't even expecting them to be born alive..my friend lost her first two litters, he and she are getting fixed after this, if anyone decides they cant keep a baby then ill be keeping it, im giving care books to all new owners, and they are to go to homes where they can be in the house or garage not just in a hutch outside, they arent going to homes with kids under the age of 5 and the list goes on....
i seriously have thought about this and prepared, i didnt just wake up and decide to throw them together one day
