Hi haven't been on in a long time.. But I have a question.
This morning my rabbit didn't greet me like he normally does he kinda just layer there. normal routine is feeding, saying good morning with him happily running over honking and then eating. But he didn't do that this morning he just Layed in the corner. So I picked him up put him on his back, which he never lets me do and he just layed like that. I put him down and he just Kaye's back down. I massaged his tummy to see if it was bloat or hard nothing. I brought him some lettuce and refused it. He hasn't eaten. His poop looks normal. I came back in 20 mins later and he was running humping his ball like normal he munched a little of the lettuce but his food hasn't been touched. I'm sure its not GI stasis but what could be wrong? I'm calling the vet soon

If it wasn't stasis I can't think of anything else - unless he was too cold—hypothermia? But I doubt that.

I think he could have had a tummy cramp or gas or something, maybe the beginnings of stasis but not full stasis, and it passed in that short amount of time. Just in case, I would do preventative care for stasis, like Blue Eyes says— Hay, and I would also encourage as much water drinking as possible because there are many who believe that dehydration is a big culprit in causing stasis in the first place. So, maybe puree some apple or banana into his water to get him to drink lots. Also, check his poos, if they seem small or all different sizes it could also be a sign that he is having gut problems.
