Okay, so as you may know, I'm going to get Teddy a new friend soon. I'll post some links of the buns I'm looking at.

These two are from the local humane society, they said the first has been around rabbits and has been alright and the second has only been around one that they know of and they didn't get along too well:

These are on Craigslist, they were originally only selling the male dutch who is the one I'm interested in, I emailed them asking if we could arrange for my rabbit to meet them, etc.:

With the second, I am concerned about him not being neutered. Is it even worth trying with a rabbit that hasn't been fixed? I think he's beautiful and all but I'm afraid of bringing him home and Teddy hating him or something after he's neutered.

Oh gosh, I don't know what I'm doing. I feel like I might be taking this WAYYYY too seriously, but you know, Teddy is my baby girl. :( I want the best for her and anyone else I decide to take in, too.

Are you not intending to get your girls spayed? Because I would have said that male or female, they would have to be spayed/neutered anyway, and why not just wait until after to introduce?

that cricket bunny is SO adorable!!

I think you'll get much more accurate reads from playdates if the other bunny is fixed already.

Oh right, I see what you mean, my apologies. Personally, I wouldn't consider the boy if he is intact. But there aren't any health issues related to him being intact and Teddy is spayed so there's no risk of pregnancy. It's just a matter of behaviour, which I imagine you will be able to gauge from a play date. Teddy will let you know who she approves of, and I suppose it's only really then that you can start planning.

That first girl was BEAUTIFUL!! I think that you should go with one of the ones from petfinder.

I hope that everything works out great and that you find the new bunny of your dreams (besides Teddy that is, because we all know how much you love her :) )

Yes, she'll be the first one I meet with. Maya. If I do end up adopting her I'll probably change her name if she doesn't know it already, not that Maya is a bad name, I just don't think it fits her, personally. She doesn't look like a Maya.
