So How Can You Tell When Female Bunny Has Reached Maturity

Hi everyone, well I know with males they can spray urine and hump and run around your legs and maybe even start to nip at you. What are the signs that females are hitting maturity? Thanks

They'll figure 8 around your feet, do the nipping and nudging too. But mostly judge by the calendar. We had one at 4 months trying to build a nest out of newspaper.

Females can hump and spray urine too. They tend to get cage territorial and will growl, box and bite you if you put your hand in their cage with them in it. Nesting is also a sign they're sexually mature. If you catch her carrying hay or other bedding around, or if she pulls all the hair off her belly, that's a sign she's now sexually mature (and having a false pregnancy).
