Tiny started sneezing a little bit yesterday andmy daughter said today he sneezed so much that he woke her up (he snuckin her room).

Now - I don't think it is serious because the air is dry here but hewas out in the yard on Saturday when the sprinklers went off and camerunning into the air conditioned house.

Any suggestions? I know....take him to thevet....right? But I'm wondering if there is any "home" remedysince he's not showing any other signs of being ill....

Ya know, I thought that his nose looked a little wet in one of the closeups you took when you were thinking of an avatar.

Sorry, Peg, the only way to really insure that he's not come down withsomething like Pasteurella, a culture taken by the vet is the safestway. Especially for the protection of the other rabbits that areexposed to him.

Are his eyes or nose runny? If so, I'd get him to the vet.

Snuggy was sneezing for a few days, but I think it was just allergies or something. She's fine now.

So, so many problems are often preceded by sneezing that I don't know where to begin, yet it can often be something simple like dust or allergens. If the sneezing is accompanied with mucus or the forepaws are wet from wiping fluid from the nose, it is highly likely there may be a significant problem.

If these conditions don't exist, think about any changes that have incurred in the environment that may be a source for sneezing and begin to manipulate the environment in search for clues.

Search the archives here for information on sneezing. It has been a much covered topic in the past.

Most certainly have a culture done to rule outcommon pathogens such as Bordatella, which canfurther stressthe immune system and lead to more serious secondaryinfections. Very bad year forrhinitis in rabbits, and some of the pathogen strains have been rather nasty.

Better safe than sorry :)
