I was wondering if anyone here could provide their thoughts and opinions about the best thing to do for this. Our 3 1/2 year old White Dwarf mix, Tulip, unfortunately started sneezing again after having no issues in the past year. This last happened a few months after we first adopted her, and were going to take her to the vet after noticing her sneeze out a glob of white snot, but after that, all symptoms disappeared and her immune system seemed to take care of the illness.

Now it's back. She's the only bun we have, and make sure to give her proper care, diet, and attention, so we assume that her immune system is pretty good! However, everything that we've read online about Pasteurella says that you need to take them to the vet asap, which is strange, because this last happened over a year ago with the symptoms associated with it, but it just went away on its own.

Would you suggest monitoring her like last time to see if she's able to get over it after a few days like before, or is it really an emergency? I guess we're just concerned about putting her through antibiotics if she's been healthy otherwise.

Thank you.

She should definitely be seen by a qualified vet, and soon. These things can progress quickly.
Good luck and keep us posted.

If there is ever a question of whether taking her to a vet is the right thing to do, the answer is always yes (providing your vet is rabbit knowledgable). In the best case scenario, your vet confirms her to be okay and you don’t have to worry, worse case scenario she is ill and your vet can help her.
