Smokey is sad

So the last week or so, everytime we take smokey out of her cage, she goes to attack us. Shes never done this before... The other rabbit is fine. Dont know whats happened, all of a sudden we cant pick her up without her attacking us. But when shes in bed with the other bunny she lets me patt her to sleep on her head.
Any ideas at all ?

does she ONLY do this in her cage?

If she does it in her cage only she's just telling you that her space needs to be HER space. If this is when she is doing it she's just being space protective and really wants HER place to be HER place. She's laid claim to it.

If she's attacking (as in ears back, chasing you out of a room) when she's not in her cage then she's being a bossy bunny and needs to be reminded of her place in life.

How old is Smokey; could this be the start of hormones?

It sounds like she needs more space; an attachment to the cage maybe.
