I just went to let the rabbits out. They are both in the same cage. There were several poops onthe shelf in the cage. Some were a little smaller than normaland some were very small. This has to be from Mocha as Lokialways poops in the litterbox and she likes to poop both in the box andin the rest of the cage.

They are both still eating and active. They ate their pelletsat the normal rate and some hay is gone from the rack. Ioffered them some oats and they both went nuts. They werefine this morning, and Loki's poop looks normal from what I can tell.

Is this anything to worry about? What can I do to help Mocha?

I just noticed that she chewed on a rubber doorstop behind my back. She had been chewing on it before butstopped after I started putting vinegar on it daily. Well, she must have been at it again this morning. I haveremoved it now. But I'm wondering if this caused the smallpoops?

She is acting like normal now- running around and chewing on boxes andsuch. She was sleeping like normal this afternoon, too. She was all stretched out and completely zonked out andnot showing any discomfort.

I suspect the boxes and cardboards are causing the smallerpoops. Take those away and see if there is any improvement ina few days. See if there is any correlationsbetween the boxes and small poops.

I feed Pebbles dried papaya from the pet store and Swiss Naturals papaya tablets everyday and her poops are great.

Rainbows! :)

same thing here .. about a week ago, I noticedreally small dark poops from Freddy, but there were tons of them so iwasnt too too concerned...i gave him canned pumpikin for two days ( alil more than usual..hes been getting it as a mid day snack) and ohboy..later on his poops were even bigger than before they got small andtheyve been fine since :)

I wouldn't press the panic button yet. Just keepa close eye on them today. I once found small poops in Devon's cage, and later that night they were normal again. Let us know when you seeimprovement.

Vinegar doesn't deter rabbits from chewing and many like the taste.

Were the poops small and dry? -- Or small and moist? (cecotropes)

Keep an eye on the situation -- if rabbits are passing small, dry poops, I start them on Nutri Cal.

I agree that it appears to be nothing to be overly concerned about at this point.
