One of my buns (Solara or Sabriel) have small poops. I just found one in their pen...

It's hard, and it looks like it has a crapload of hay in it. It also has a couple furs in it. I'd say it has to be Solara cause I see a brown hair.. but Sabriel licks Solara too.

Do I need to change their diet? Is one of them eating all of the other's veggies/pellets? They sleep together and eat their veggies at night- it all used to be seperate until now... hmm.. could this be bad?

Thanks, Bailee

P.S. In the morning they get two 1/3 cups of timothy pellets (they usually finish it during the night) andd at night they get all colours of bell peppers, a bit of carrot, carrot tops, parsley, celery, romaine lettuce...

Is it just today or has it been a while that somebun has been pooping small?

It's hard to tell with bonded pairs who it is unless you separate them for like half a day see whose poops are potentially an issue. If you're really concerned, you might want to do that just to be sure.

If nothing has changed with their diet, it might not be that... maybe just take out the carrot and leave the greens in their salad. Has anybun been shedding? Lots of bunnies seem to be shedding in the summer, which could contribute to the extra furry poop. Have they been drinking water at a normal quantity? The weather could be dehydrating them more, and if they're not intaking more water, it could affect the quality of their output.

It's been a couple days..
And today, I noticed some dried up cecals on the ground.
They seem like they were partially eaten.
When I first got Solara, she did that a lot.
But I'm wondering if this small poop thing is Sabriel.
He may not be getting enough water...
I never see him drink as much as Solara does.
How can I get him to drink more?

Yeah, I heard that carrots can do that, so I left it out last night.
I'll keep em out for now.
Solara still seems to be shedding.
When she was molting, she wouldn't let me touch her or anything to help.
So she's still got tufts of fur sticking out and such.
(Once I bonded her to Sabriel, she grew anti-social.. she's just now started to let me pet her again, and she licks me again now, and she finally eats from my hand again. I was hoping we'd grow close again :) )
Sabriel seems like he's always shedding.
He molted a while back (Like really bad, lol)
But I was able to brush him and help him along.

The weather outside is humid, and hot.
Inside, it's a bit chilly.
I have 2 ceiling fans in my room and I always have them running.
(My room is above the garage, so if I don't, it get's as hot as the garage)

My two bun's poops are total opposites; Pippin's poops are light, big and sort of crumbly, whereas Benji's are small, dark and hard. Pippin eats tons more hay than Benji- which makes them bigger and lighter. Both are normal.

Does he eat tons of hay?

I doubt it could be to do with the carrot specifically- rabbits that eat veggies will have different poops to those who don't, and rabbits that eat lots of hay will have totally different poops to those that don't eat much of it.
