Hello, last night I got a baby rabbit, about 9 or 10 weeks old. He had a very long car ride to get here. I have noticed that since he has gotten here he has made some very small and irregular shaped stools, and I am worried that he is entering GI stasis from the stress. I am unsure whether to take him to the vet or see if this improves on its own. I don't want to add so much stress to the point that it makes it worse but I also don't want this to go untreated if it will not get better without intervention. I will attach a picture of the stool, some are so tiny they are barely visible.

Okay thank you, it's just worrying me quite a bit because a couple months ago I had a rabbit pass away shortly after creating stools that looked like that.He's pooping, that's fine
Let him settle in, be around but don't hover over him, give him some time to adjust. Give him all the foods he is used to.

Is he eating and drinking normally, or at all? Especially a grass hay. It's the best thing to help get the gut motility back to normal, provided the rabbit is eating it well.
he is eating and drinking, and his stool went back to normal after the first day of him setting in. i'm guessing his bowels were just a little slow from the stress and possibly dehydration from transport.
Good news! For now, continue to let him get settled. Go about normal activity so he can adjust to his new home but leave him alone and don't start handling him yet. Just let him stay in his cage/pen undisturbed for another couple days.
