I had no idea that bunnies made sounds in their sleep like dogs!

He was just chillin and he started kicking his feet and while I was IMing my husband (he's overseas), he made a little screaming/squeaky noise! I think he's having a bad dream ;_;

hahaha that is so cute. My penny just lays there I wish she snored I would video tape that. Enjoy it!

Hazel often makes noises now when she sleeps. She does that twitchy thing like dreaming cats do, twitching her nose, face, ears... making funny little noises meanwhile.

Funny thing is, when she was younger, she never made a sound. Only when she was 4 or 5 did she start making sounds. Now she is quite vocal, most of the time.
She has happy sounds when eating, getting pets, etc, and grumpy sounds when she's unhappy :)

well in theory the longer a rabbit has contact with humans the more likely they'll become more and more vocal, dogs, cats, horses, many other animals start 'talking' more often because we're always talking around them!
Lucy's started making a little 'umph' noise when she jumps somewhere or does something. I find it funny she'll jump up do a umph noise, i won't pay attention so she'll do a sorta squeak and thump, when i keep not paying attention she'll do another umph as she jumps down.

I don't ever see her sleeping and I don't hear anything at night.

i adopted bertie my french lop when he was 18 months old and he scared us witless with his noises!! still does!!

when falling asleep he makes a weird clucking sound like a chicken but one note.
he squeaks and wheezes and makes odd little sounds as he dreams and twitches..and having a large tail..he was thumping it on the floor like a dog..ive only seen him do it twice tho..the tail thing.
he falls into a deep sleep amd the squeaky snoring begins...gets louder and then turns into a proper rasping snore so loud you have to turn the tv volume up!!

gotta love buns.
