I have french/Acadian angora and some have smallreddich/brown crust behind their ears, on the necks(like halfhealed small cuts). Wonderingwhat theyare exactlyand what one should do about it? Thanks for you help and time.

It is most probably fur mites, which are morecommon in Angoras. One of the most effective treatments isIvomec injections (can also be given orally). Because Ivomeccan cause a neuro-toxic reaction in rare cases, I suggest consultingyour veterinarian.
