Skin rash.

Okie dokie now. I have a nasty rash on the back of my neck going down to the top of my back. From what I can tell, it's nowhere else. It itches...a lot. And when I scratch it kind of hurts. It started yesterday (maybe a the day before, but not real noticeable until yesterday) and today it's more "blistery." I feel like a freak and I'm not interested in getting sick since I'm leaving for Albuquerque a week from Tuesday. And I don't have insurance and I'm not really willing to go to the doctor for something that is just an itchy pain in the neck (literally).

Only things that have changed are that I got a perm on Wednesday and thus switched shampoo. But I do remember getting itchy on Friday and hadn't even washed my hair with the new shampoo until that night. So, I don't know.

If it doesn't go away or gets worse I'll definitely go to the doctor or at least put a call in to her, but any ideas what this could be? Ugh. I'm gross.

My guess is your skin got burned from the perm solution and then maybe irritated when you washed it.

I would put some cortizone cream on it(you canfind itcheap at Marc's or Walmart) Pin your hair up so it's not touching your neck for a while.

You should put some calamine lotion on it to soothe the itching. Pink is a lovely color anyway Other than the perm, did you wear new jewelry or something? Sure sounds like it can be the perm though
