I love singing Christmas songs..makes me happy.

I can hold a tune, but my voice is not brill. I did though, on a dare, audition for Pop Idol 2 (which was the UK version of American Idol), and I didn't get through, so I'm not awful and not excellent, lol. I'm in the middle.

I love performing though, so I wish I could sing properly. I did have singing lessons when I was at stage school, but it's not really my talent.

I'll sing anything that has a tune really.

I have me singing shania Twain on my cell phone someone recorded me but its not so good. I was hyper and it sounds really awful.

College said I could sing when they accepted me despite having no real training. So I guess I can? :?Lol. I passed my audition with 90% I know I have an ear as I was passing with 90's in college. :biggrin2:

Christmas songs and countryis what I sing. I was doing classical voice and was told I am a soprano by my voice teacher. I can hit some pretty decent notes though. I didn't think it was possible.

I don't really sing anymore though. I used to direct the high school choir. My lungs have been causing me problems and I was just learning the proper techniques when I had to stop. I'll regret that decision forever.

My whole family sings, I'm not the best, but I'm pretty good (if I say so myself ) I was in chior and musical theater stuff all through school, but I don't really do anything anymore.

I sing alot... Everything from christmas songs to metal. If it's not singing per se, it's strange wordless soundings, especially in echo-y places. It drives my family crazy sometimes.

Singing was my life...that is until I had my boys and had to give up that dream!Which I am perfectly fine with.

I sing everything from Latin (salsa, bolero), R&B, pop and the list goes on. Thinking about getting into some rock with my friend's husband's band for fun...Music is such a powerful thing for me. Can't be without it.

Actually, YES!!! I love to sing...sang beforeI could talk. Low self esteem (I used to weigh 40lbs more than I do now)and lack of parental support kept me from doing anything constructive with it, though. My Dad actually threatened to not pay for my college if I took any choral classes. I did minor in voice (behind his back...he still has no idea), but after college, I sang less and less.

When I met my hubby 4 years ago and he and his familyREALLY encouraged me and I feel much better about my abilities. I actually do believe I could make it as an artist now that I am older and more self assured. I am planning to audition for Country Star this year, so wish me luck! I'd audition for American Idol, but I'm too old :sighthe age limit thing sucks, b/c I look younger than some of the people on there, even though I'm 35...it was a curse when I was younger...people thought I was 14 or 15 when I was actually 23.I appreciate it now, though, when people think I'm 28.

My favorite artist to sing (when Ising karaoke) is Martina McBride. LOVE HER!!! I also like to sing Carrie Underwood's songs, too, but Martina is MY idol (although I did cry when Carrie won American Idol...I was soooo happy for her). I used to sing a lot of Broadway, but my interest in that has faded somewhat...now its country music, butI still break out the ole' "Phantom of the Opera" and "Les Miserables" cds every now and again.

Hey, Edierabbit, do you have any home video of you singing? I for one would love to hear it! It's just such a beautiful talent to possess, and I love seeing/hearing up-and-coming talent (which is why I love watching American Idol). It would be so nice to hear your voice!

I love to sing! I've been in school choirs since 5th grade. I was a 1st soprano for a while but have since become a second soprano. I have several audio recordings of our choir singing, but I have no idea how I would post them on here. I'll see if I can figure something out.

Well, not yet, but I am making an audition cd in the next couple of weeks...also a Christmas present for my in laws! I'll upload something then.

Okay, I added the audio clips to a short (okay, not short) video. It's not like you need to watch the movie, just listen. I did put the titles of the songs in there. Some titles I've forgotten, so I'm not sure if they're all correct.
Keep in mind we're a 20 ish member, all girls ssa choir. Don't be looking for the baritone voices, lol.

i looove to sing too!

i sang all throughout h.s. and did musicals and all that stuff.

i sang in my sisters wedding last year, i think that was one of the biggest highlights of my musical career, it was definitely satisfying.

currently i have a vocal scholarship with my college so i'm in the women's ensemble here. i enjoy singing a whole lot!

i'm a 2nd saprano/alto but i have a pretty decent range. i love singing all types of music, i can't pick just one :biggrin2:
