Nope you don't. Already called for one and the Secretary was very nice to give me info on it and stated she hoped I'd enjoy it.

Regarding entry fees, the one in Mullica Hill was free. The only fees collected was for you to enter your bunny.

In the vast majority, the public can come to a show and look around. Some may have an admission charge, especially if the show is in conjunction with another show or event. There may be some shows that are only open to exhibitors and not the public, but these are rare and can be due to space issues.
Most shows will have a catalogue online that you can view. If there are any admission charges or if the public is not allowed, it should say so. If you can unsure, contact the show secretary and ask.

Remember to keep any kids under control, don't touch rabbits without asking (and don't put your fingers through the cages), don't open cages either and don't feed the rabbits. You can take pictures, but if you want to ask for permission that is fine.

Come to the show! The Aylett show outside Richmond is put on by my local breeder's club. It's a pretty small show, and the atmosphere is very laid-back. Be aware though that the show room is small and tends to get crowded! I'll be at the secretary's table that morning helping with entries, but won't be showing.

Like everyone else said, there is rarely an admission fee charged for public entry- It's actually fun when people from the public wander in and get to learn all about bunny shows and the different breeds from the breeders. :) The Richmond Rabbit Breeders Association (the club that is putting on the show you're interested in) is looking for ways to get the public interested in rabbit showing and raising, so non-rabbit fanciers coming to the shows are always welcome and appreciated. :)

Yay I'm thinking about my daughter and 4H she will be old enough to join next year. I would love for her to do a bunny project. Want to see the different breeds and their size in person.

So glad to hear how open your club is to people and how much you want to inform and educate the public.

Eclairemom: Hope you and your daughter enjoy the show. And wishing you all the luck with your daughter and 4-H. I think it's an excellent idea for children to get to know the love and care of an animal. Because bunnies are a BLAST! Please let us know how it goes and what you and your daughter decide for your 4-H project. Definitely bring a camera. Great way to start a scrap book for her project.

HAVE FUN!

Scamper has been doing really well r ecently. I work from home so I do time share with him and the dogs. Was letting them visit at the same time but the big dog decided he had enough of the crazy bunny and growled. He is a crazy crazy bunny high energy then he will go lay under my daughters bed for a while, nap I guess and come back again running bunny laps. Considering a friend for him. Oh and we went to the show now I'm more confused than before. I loved the BIG rabbits...English and French Lops and the Flemish. My husband liked the Tans and my daughter the Red Mini Rex. And I almost got a lionhead and then snapped back to reality, but he was soooo cute.
