okay so I am sorry that I only come here when I have a problem :(

You might remember JP my holland lop i posted about her falling off the balcony.

anyways shes 5 months now and just got spayed three days ago. She is like fully back to normal now, eating and running around (I try to keep her in her cage while she heals but its sad)
anyways just today I noticed a bald spot on her back, just below her shoulder blades? I don't know if the spay and this is related at all but i am HOPING it is. :? the bald spot is just little but it is kind of white in the middle.

I have been giving her banamine for her pain meds, and I thought maybe this is a side effect? you guys always surprise me with what you know could this be a side effect??? I have no money for the vet especially since i just got her spayed. I know I probably just need to wait and see if it gets better or worse, but I thought I would ask just in case pain meds can do that to a bun bun. also i stopped giving her any meds today, i figure if she can run around my living room acting like a rockstar she doesn't need them.

Be careful with all that running and definitely no jumping! You don't want her to tear her sutures.
Sounds like it could be a funky molt or an old scar if she's ever had a wound there.
Hair loss is not an adverse effect of NSAIDS to my knowledge.

I just thought of another idea. the day I got JP spayed I was at an animal shelter just for fun playing with the animals. I washed my hands before I left but is it possible that I could have given JP mites or something from the animals there? or would they not be on me? Can I carry them? JP wasn't at the shelter. could she have gotten them at the doctor? I'm just trying to figure out what could have happened.. and if it is mites then is there anything i can do besides just take her to a vet and ask him?

Sounds more like ringworm--a bacterial infection--need to have it checked and then treat.

Can't believe I didn't think of ringworm. Yes ringworm can cause hairloss and can affect you too, but it's a fungal infection.

could I have gotten ring worm from the shelter and given it to her?? whats the difference in ring worm and mites with how it looks on the bunny?

You could have.

Ringworm lesions generally have clearly defined borders whereas mite infestations have more diffuse edges. Your vet can do a skin scraping to check for mites and possibly fungus although fungus is usually diagnosed with a culture. Some ringworm cases (but not all) will fluoresce green when viewed with a black light.
