Sick person, sick rabbit?

I had a quick question: Can house rabbits getsick when their humans get sick. I don't have a bunny yet, but the factthat I'm sick today got me thinking.

I've had colds before when taking care of myrabbits, and they never seemd to catch any of my germs..... I'm alwaysvery careful and cautious whenever I get strep because I know strep canbe fatal to certain rodents (I found this fact out about rats, not sureif it applies to other rodents) so I always take preventative measureswhen caring for my rabbits.

I'm sure somebody else on the board can be of more help then I am!

Thanks. Good information because I usually getstrep once a year, and I currently have either strep or a viralinfection. Good thing I don't have a bunny yet.
