Info on Buns:
Saskatoon, SK Cananda(We keep her indoors all the time)
She's white with light brown stripe down back and a few brown spots, Breed ?, she's a mini, around 7lbs.
Around 5years old
Female
Hesitant to come out of nest area, won't eat usual food, only eats fav foods when put in front of her, and only drinks if water is placed in front of her. Now has diaherria.
Won't go into litter area; last used it three days ago. Poos are small and some diaherria just this morning. Pees in nest area can't tell size. Long stroy but we just use regular dirt in her litter area.
Not spayed; Never sick before
She usually eats Ecotritian essencial blend food (it has 16% crude protein ans as far as we know is balanced) Right now she is only eating fresh veggies and a little banana; she just took some of the "cookie" like bits that are in her food from my hand. But refuses to eat the pellets.
She's not moving around accept to turn around or take a few steps to the front of the cage when we coax her. Over the last three years she does not prefer to be out of her cage (more and more all the time) but particulary since Aug when we took in a stray cat.
She's usually molts between Aug & Oct sometimes into Nov. She didn't molt this year like she usually does.
Tiny bit of weightloss today. Not grooming herself like usual. She looks a little dirty and haggered. She's usually loud and obnxious if she's not happy about something but she quiet and regressive.
The cat we took in in Auguast was starving and alittle sick. Though he is fat and happy now; he's had off and on diaherria. Arranging our living situation with the cat and rabbit has been difficult. We only ever took the bunny out when the cat was out of the house. To keep it brief...the weather turned into serious winter this last week. We could not keep the cat out in the front enterence at night like we had done so he's been in the house at night. Though we know he is and instinctive hunter outside he's never showed more interest in Buns then to glance at her. We don't know if his presence in the house has affected Buns to this point.
