Hi, I bought a bunny from a pet store, its keptindoors large cage, outin play area throughout the day, itwas to be a lop eared, but one ear lays down one stands up, the rabbitis very sweet. My problem he has been sneezing, other wiseseems fine, I spoke with a breeder and was told to giveitmedicinein its water I can't spell what it was{Teramyison}this has not helped any suggestions? Could youalso please tell me what is a good bedding to use, I have trieddifferent thing hoping this might be the cause of its problem. I justwant a healthy bunny so any help would be great.

Thanks Have a great day:)

We will see a vet asap, need to keep this sweet thing healthy. Thank you for the info:D

If it's terramycin, don't put that in thewater. I manage a pet store and see lots of vets between thestore and my own animals. The only experience I've had withterramycin, and I've used it A LOT, was as an eye ointment.I've never seen it as anything else. She might have beentalking about tetracycline. That's rabbit safe, and easy toget (it can be bought as a fish medication and used in the water ofother animals), but it's been so widely used, a lot of illnesses areimmune to it.

I would get to a rabbit savvy vet. It could be the start of an upper respiratory infection or an allergy.

Good Luck,

Jen

P.S. Please let me know if you come across terramycin as something other then an eye ointment, I'm really curious.
