I bred my two rabbits last fall hoping to get a good show bun... I have my first rabbit show this Sunday and I was wondering if either of these rabbits are going to be good rabbits to show?
Btw these pics are from when they were like 8 weeks old but their looks haven't really changed. Also, Peter is no longer my rabbit, I sold him to my neighbors but their daughter may want to show him.

Rue - 2 lbs 12 oz (5 months) His ears still stand up straight unless I push them down.

I can take new pics of them & post if any of you would like.

Thanks for the advice!!

The only thing I can tell you is that they both have very slipped crowns. For evaluating purposes, they need to be more upright and you should have pictures from the front, back, side, and top. :)

Producing show quality rabbits, especially Holland Lops, usually doesn't happen in just one generation. Sometimes people get lucky, but generally it means maintaining a number of rabbits and breeding for at least several generations before you start getting all the pieces of the puzzle on one rabbit.

From the pictures provided, I wouldn't consider these two rabbits competitive show quality. Like the others said, they appear to be very slipped in crown and longer in the shoulder and midsection. Also, if Rue's ears stand up vertically, he would be disqualified at an ARBA show.

Depending on your area, they may do well at a 4-H show. Some areas are less competitive or have pet classes where you can enter rabbits that don't quite have ideal breed traits.

Holland Lops are one of the most challenging breeds to raise because they are very competitive and are some of the highest quality rabbits out there. It's not uncommon for a Holland to take Best in Show anywhere in the country. If you're serious about working to improve the breed and starting to show, please feel free to PM me with any questions, or let us (breeders' area of the forum) know if there is anything we can help with! :)
