I bred my California doe with a buck yesterday, it seems that the buck completed the job, should I put them back together today to make sure, or wait?

You can try putting them back together if you would like.
She may or may not accept him. Most does will refuse the male once they are pregnant, but a few will let them mate again regardless. It's not a sure fire way to tell if she's pregnant.
If the buck mounted your doe 2-3 times, the doe was lifting her rear end to receive, and the buck grunted/fell off, then she's most likely pregnant.

I usually do my does 3 -4 times but i always do it on the same day as there is always a chance that they can get pregnant in both uterine horns. I have always been told not to do them on different days. However you could put them back and if she refuses him then she has taken
