I know that they are OK with each other tillbefore twelve weeks but should they be seperated from Fergi beforetwelve weeks? She tolerates them well at this point but she is aterritorialy bun with a bit of an anger problem. Just curious.

Fergi's Mom,

I have been reading nothing but rabbity things for a week and I heardthat baby buns should be starting to leave at 8 weeks, bucks first;then does so the mother's milk production will diminish lessdramatically. This seems to be common advice on the internet, but I am inexperienced and only repeating what I have read.

Hope this helps,

What a good idea! I never heard that, but I knowthat even though Tank refused to nurse, she was miserable because shewas still producing so much milk. Perhaps a few babies still therecould have helped.

Maybe she weaned so soon because there were just too many little squirts.

Hmmm....remember all these things for future....
